The short version: Your tax documents never leave your browser. We don't create accounts. We don't track you with cookies. Your financial data is yours alone.

1. What Data We Collect

PDF & Financial Data — None

SimplifyAMZ processes all PDF files and financial data entirely within your web browser, on your device. We never see, receive, transmit, or store your tax documents, DDR reports, 1099-K data, or any other financial information you provide to the Tool.

Accounts & Credentials — None

We do not create user accounts. We do not store usernames, passwords, or any personally identifiable login credentials.

Quality Assurance Data — Discontinued

We previously collected anonymized parsing statistics for quality monitoring. This data collection has been discontinued as of March 19, 2026. No diagnostic or quality assurance data is collected from your browser.

Payment Information

When you purchase access to export features, Stripe collects your email address and payment information during checkout. We do not see or store your full card number. Payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Affiliate Referral Tracking

We log referral codes and click counts for our affiliate program. This data tracks which referral links are used — not who clicked them. No personal data is collected from referral tracking.

Analytics

We track anonymous funnel events (page views, step progression) to understand how the tool is used and improve the experience. This tracking:

Does not use cookies
Does not collect personal identifiers
Records aggregate counters only (e.g., "X users reached Step 3")

Your PDF files are processed using JavaScript running in your browser. The files are read from your device, parsed in memory, and never transmitted anywhere. When you close the tab, the data is gone.

3. Third-Party Services

SimplifyAMZ uses the following third-party services:

Stripe — Payment processing. When you purchase export access, Stripe collects your email and payment details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare — Website hosting and delivery. Cloudflare may log standard web server data (IP addresses, page requests) as part of normal operations. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

We do not use any other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

4. Data Retention

Access tokens — Expire after 7 days. After expiration, they are no longer valid.
QA data — Previously collected anonymized parsing metrics have been discontinued as of March 19, 2026. No new QA data is collected.
Analytics data — Aggregate counters only. No individual user records to retain or delete.
Your financial data — Never stored. Exists only in your browser session.

5. Children's Privacy

SimplifyAMZ is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
